MIMESIS

The wavy detail of the glass refers to the ephemeral structures that create our everyday life: formed clouds, flower petals, elements of architecture or waves on the sea. All that is most beautiful lasts only a brief moment or is a small but significant element hidden in a larger whole.

The game of imitation is another of Mimesis' design principles. Glass or porcelain? How about a quail egg or a dalmatian? Observe the effects on the glass and look for your own associations.

Mimesis refers to similarity and actions based on imitation. In craftsmanship, it's taking after the actions of nature, such as capturing the waves of the ocean in the hilly detail of a glass. The glass objects in the Mimesis collection decode reality anew to draw out its original beauty and enrich our everyday life with added content.

The glass has a capacity of 300 ml and is handmade from blown, tinted glass. As a result, the glasses are dishwasher safe. Each piece differs in the arrangement of dots and spots, so each glass is unique. The glass measures 95 x 75 mm.

PRODUCTION

The vases are made in a handmade process, from glass blowing into wooden molds to polishing, at a small glassworks in the Podkarpacie region. The glass is stained in the mass, that is, the dye is fused into the glass at the time of production. This is the highest quality production of colored glass, so that the beautiful colors will never rub off, plus it makes the vases dishwasher-safe.

The vases are made of soda glass, which has a heat resistance of about 80 degrees Celsius, so it is recommended to pour liquids of lukewarm or cold temperature.

SIGNATURE

GWIAZDA STUDIO products are produced in short series and aspire to become collector's items in your home. Therefore, each glass is signed with a logotype, series number and the name of the star shining brightest during production. Sometimes the logo is not engraved perfectly - these are flaws of manual positioning of the glass within the laser working area.

MAINTENANCE

GWIAZDA STUDIO glassware can be washed in the dishwasher. Give your glass items the love they deserve and wash them with mild detergents, don't put ice in an empty vessel and don't place vases upside down on their rim to avoid the development of chips.
